Gin ‘n’ Bitters has backed up her impressive debut win at Sunshine Coast a fortnight ago, by returning to the venue and recording another strong victory, tonight.

Hunted out of the gates, Gin ‘n’ Bitters emerged from the centre of the field to find the lead upon settling down and travelled strongly under Robbie Fradd as the field approached the home turn.

Held together as the field headed for home, it wasn’t until Gin ‘n’ Bitters was challenged on a galloper on his inside, that Fradd starting to get serious on the daughter of Sebring who responded to the hands and heels urgings of her rider.

In the last 100m, Gin ‘n’ Bitters pulled away and recorded a 1.25 length win as she cruised over the line.

The win made it two wins from as many starts for the 4yo mare and indicated that she’ll derive more benefit from the experience, again.
